HOW IT WORKS

  • Hour 1: Lecture on Control & Voice

    • Join me for a live Zoom lecture where we'll dig into narrative control and the deliberate application of voice to take command of your story and influence the way your readers experience your writing. (45 minutes, 15 minute coffee break)

  • Hour 2: Live Workshop

    • We'll spend 20 minutes looking at the opening of an exisiting piece of work, where we'll analyse how the author has used narrative control and voice to enhance their writing. Then, you'll have 20 minutes to pen the opening to a story of your own using a specific prompt to utilise what we've just learned. Following that, I'll read and critique a selection of these pieces live, providing real-time feedback and editorial notes.

  • Hour 3: Q&A

    • In hour three, we'll jump into a 30-minute Q&A where I'll tackle as many questions as I can on writing, publishing, or anything else you might want to know.​
